President Donald Trump's latest financial disclosure report indicates earnings of approximately $1.2 billion last year, a substantial sum largely driven by cryptocurrency holdings. This figure significantly overshadows the income from his well-known real estate business.

The report, spanning over 900 pages, details that Trump's crypto investments generated more than $1.1 billion. This includes over $500 million from World Liberty Financial, which deals in "governance tokens" and "stablecoins," and more than $600 million from CIC Digital LLC from sales of "meme" coins featuring his likeness. Both types of digital assets have seen their values decline since their sale, in part due to valuation complexities.

Buyers, including Chinese billionaire Justin Sun, invested heavily in these Trump-associated cryptocurrencies. Sun reportedly spent $75 million on tokens and $200 million on souvenir coins. A federal lawsuit against Sun for allegedly duping investors was settled for a $10 million fine in February 2025, though Sun denied his spending on Trump businesses was related to his legal case. World Liberty has also dismissed notions of a conflict of interest.

Separately, a company linked to the United Arab Emirates government purchased a stake in World Liberty for $500 million shortly before Trump's inauguration. Trump received nearly $200 million from this "capital contribution." Subsequently, the UAE gained access to advanced U.S. chips previously restricted due to national security concerns.

The report also highlights income from new property holdings, particularly in foreign countries. Trump earned tens of millions in fees from overseas hotel, resort, and condo deals, marking a significant expansion of his family's real estate business. Among these, a property in the UAE generated $10.4 million, one in Saudi Arabia yielded $9 million, and deals in Romania and Qatar each brought in $5 million.

Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Florida reported $77 million in earnings, a 50% increase from the previous year. His golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey, earned $38 million, up nearly 20%. Combined, his 16 golf courses and clubs globally generated over $470 million in fees and licensing income.

In addition to real estate and crypto, Trump also profited from licensing his name and likeness on various products. His Bibles generated over $200,000, while books such as "Save America" earned nearly $1.9 million. Other ventures included guitars, sneakers, and fragrances, which brought in tens of thousands of dollars.

The disclosure also notes that Trump received more than $80 million from settlements with media companies, including ABC, CBS, and Meta, following lawsuits alleging fraud and defamation. Funds from these settlements are reportedly earmarked for his planned Miami library. He also owes E. Jean Carroll $50 million, pending appeal, from defamation and sexual abuse claims.
