Trump reverses course on livestreaming Nidal Hasan execution
The former president announced that the firing squad execution of the Fort Hood shooter will not be broadcast, citing concerns about public viewing.

Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that while he believes broadcasting the execution could serve as a deterrent to terrorism, he acknowledges that many Americans would prefer not to witness the event. Hasan is scheduled to be executed by firing squad on December 3.

Trump also indicated that immediate family members of the 13 victims killed in the 2009 rampage will be permitted to attend Hasan's execution in person if they choose.
