US President Donald Trump reported over $1 billion in earnings from cryptocurrency business dealings during his first year in office for his second term, according to his mandatory financial report for 2025. The 927-page disclosure details $635 million in royalties from a company that issues the $TRUMP crypto token, which he launched three days before taking office. An additional $500 million in income was reported from token sales by World Liberty Financial, a firm with which the president and his family have backing. This marks a substantial increase compared to the more than $600 million in total income reported in his previous financial disclosure.

Much of the income is attributed to transactions with World Liberty Financial, a venture where Trump and his family members reportedly receive 75% of the company's proceeds. In response to the disclosure, White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly stated that Trump had proudly made the U.S. "the crypto capital of the world." Kelly also rejected any suggestions of ethical concerns or conflicts of interest, asserting that "all actions by President Trump and his administration are taken in the best interest of the American people."
