During a campaign rally in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, President Trump addressed a protester who briefly interrupted his speech. As the individual was escorted out of the Myrtle Beach Convention Center by police and staff, Trump remarked, “Mom isn’t going to be happy.”
Trump, who was campaigning for Senate candidate Darline Graham ahead of Tuesday's South Carolina Senate runoff, encouraged his supporters to turn out and vote as if he were on the ballot. "Just come and vote. It's so important," he urged.
He described Graham as a candidate who would champion common sense, advocate for lower taxes and increased paychecks, oppose amnesty for undocumented immigrants, and protect Second Amendment rights. Trump also stated that Graham would be a strong supporter of the military.
Graham, who joined Trump on stage, expressed gratitude for his endorsement and his friendship with her late brother, Senator Lindsey Graham. "Thank you, Mr. President. Thank you for your endorsement. It has meant the world to me," she said. "This is MAGA country, right?"
