Former President Donald Trump generated approximately $1 billion from cryptocurrency-related ventures while many of his supporters incurred significant losses, according to a report from The Wall Street Journal.
The report indicates that roughly two-thirds of investors in Trump-themed memecoins are currently operating at a financial deficit. These digital tokens, often referred to as memecoins, are cryptocurrencies that derive their value from internet memes or trends, and can be highly volatile.
The financial performance of these investments has led to substantial losses for a significant portion of Trump's fanbase who invested in these digital assets, contrasting sharply with the substantial profits realized by the former president from related deals.
