Trump Posts AI Video of Taming Tiger After Man's Death at UK Zoo

Former President Donald Trump posted an AI-generated video late Tuesday that depicted him subduing and befriending a Siberian tiger. This occurred hours after he had shared a warning with his followers on Truth Social: “Don’t ever mess with nature!”

The artificial video began with Trump on the ground in place of the victim. It then showed him, dressed in a blue suit and red tie, pursuing the large cat before playfully wrestling with it and embracing it.

Earlier on Tuesday, Trump had initially shared a video of a real tiger fatally attacking 23-year-old William Chapman at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in Doncaster, England, over the weekend. The post was accompanied by his admonition about nature.

Chapman’s family stated on Tuesday that their loved one had experienced “significant mental illness” and requested that authorities investigate the circumstances that led him to climb into the tiger enclosure shortly before his death. The AI video was posted about eight hours after the initial report of Chapman’s death, and with no accompanying message from Trump. The artificial clip was shared after Trump concluded remarks at a rally in Alaska in advance of the midterm elections.
