Former President Donald Trump's weekend social media activity included the distribution of numerous artificial intelligence-generated images. One of the final images shared depicted Trump seated at a table with Abraham Lincoln and George Washington, all appearing to sign an upside-down U.S. map. Trump in this image is shown wearing attire similar to Lincoln's.
Other AI-generated images featured Trump in various contexts. These included a depiction of himself looking at a younger version of himself in the uniform he wore during his teenage years at a private military academy, and another portraying him as a Revolutionary War figure. The former president did not serve in the military; he received four college deferments and one for bone spurs during the Vietnam War era.
Additional images posted by Trump included scenarios where Venezuela was labeled the "51st state," and an image of him looming over Greenland, a territory he has previously suggested could become a U.S. state. Other shared images showed him as Elvis Presley and kissing a figurine of Jesus on a cross.
Critics have reportedly voiced opposition to Trump's focus on posting AI-generated images, suggesting he should instead prioritize pressing national issues such as the conflict in Iran, or economic affordability concerns.
