Former President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff for one week to mourn the death of country music legend Dolly Parton.
"This is a true loss for millions of people," Trump posted on Truth Social. "There has never been anyone like her, and never will."
Trump hailed Parton as "one of the greatest Country singers, and far beyond, EVER." He concluded his post with "Rest in Peace, Dolly! The World loves you."
Parton's death was announced Tuesday by her nephew. She was 80 years old.
