President Donald Trump announced Tuesday that he is formally nominating acting Navy Secretary Hung Cao to be the next Navy Secretary. The announcement follows the resignation of Army Secretary Dan Driscoll. Cao has been serving as the acting secretary since the previous Navy Secretary, John C. Phelan, was ousted four months prior.
