Trump Links French Riots to 'Mass Migration' and 'Islam Wanting to Take Over'
Former President Donald Trump commented on the ongoing unrest in France via his Truth Social account, attributing the violence to immigration and religious extremism.

Former President Donald Trump has asserted that the ongoing riots in France are a result of "out of control mass migration" and "Islam wanting to take over a once great Country." He shared these views on his Truth Social account Tuesday evening, describing the situation in France as having become "out of control."
The protests, which began last month, initially focused on failing school conditions, drawing hundreds of thousands to the streets across France's major cities. However, many of these demonstrations have devolved into violence.
In Paris on Tuesday, law enforcement deployed tear gas and pepper spray to disperse protestors who were observed throwing stones and rocks at officers. These events occurred after Bally Bagayoko, the far-Left mayor of Saint-Denis, who reportedly joined the riots, suggested that "violence can become legitimate at a certain point."
According to a spokesperson for France's interior ministry, the total number of arrests since the protests began three weeks ago reached 6,100, with 1,483 of those arrested being minors. The individuals were taken into custody for offenses including violence against public officials and vandalism.
The spokesperson also reported that at least 715 officers and 215 teenagers have sustained injuries during the clashes. Images from Paris depicted riots where individuals, some wearing masks, set fire to bins, launched flares, and climbed on statues.
