Alina Habba, a prominent attorney known for her work with former President Donald Trump, married Turkish billionaire Turhan Mildon in a $9 million wedding ceremony at the Waldorf Hotel in New York City. The 42-year-old Habba, who was previously married twice, exchanged vows with the 29-year-old Mildon after a whirlwind romance that reportedly began earlier this year.
Mildon, who hails from a powerful Turkish business dynasty, is the grandson of Miller Holding founder Muhsin Mildon. The conglomerate, headquartered in Istanbul, focuses on construction, mines, energy, and international trade, operating in over 100 countries. The 29-year-old tycoon took over as president and CEO of Miller Holding in 2025. His business ventures have notably expanded into sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

Mildon's significant projects in the DRC include the construction of a financial and convention center in the capital, Kinshasa, and the Kinshasa Arena, a 20,000-seat indoor venue. His company has also secured a contract to build a drone launch base for the Congolese military. Mildon has expressed ambitions for further expansion across Africa, citing interest in countries like Ghana, Senegal, Benin, Togo, Gabon, and Somalia.

The Turkish tycoon's business activities in Africa are closely linked to his relationship with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan, described as a close ally of Mildon, is noted for his ambition to increase Turkey's influence on the continent. Reports suggest Mildon's company has benefited from diplomatic support from Erdogan in securing overseas contracts. President Trump has previously referred to Erdogan as a "tough cookie" and a "great leader."

Mildon met Habba earlier this year at an event in Washington, D.C., where he was a donor. Habba, who moved to Palm Beach, Florida, after her recent divorce, was formerly an attorney for Donald Trump. The wedding festivities reportedly included a guest list with potential attendees from the Trump administration. The couple's engagement was marked by a 23-carat diamond ring.
