Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform on Sunday morning to express his dissatisfaction with Fox News' coverage of his political rallies. Trump stated that his supporters want to see his rallies on the network, and that viewership will decline if the coverage does not meet his expectations.

"Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!)," Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform. He added that the "old undercurrent" at the network is responsible for what he perceives as inadequate coverage of his "packed house and incredibly enthusiastic" events.

The former president also criticized the network for dedicating time to subjects that he believes are not aligned with the interests of the MAGA movement. "We don’t like stupid Jessica Tarlov, and all of the others, that are forced down MAGA’S throats," he stated. He contrasted this with what he described as "phenomenal ratings for those that properly report" on his rallies.

Trump's public criticism comes amid a busy campaign schedule, including rallies across 17 states. It also follows a period where Fox News chose to stand with three news outlets that Trump had banned from White House press briefings, a decision that reportedly angered figures within his circle. Top trade adviser Peter Navarro had publicly called for a boycott of the network following this decision.

In his Truth Social post, Trump questioned "who makes these decisions" and referenced the departure of Maria Bartiromo from Fox News, suggesting it was related to her showing the White House an internal memo that pushed back against claims of a fraudulent 2020 election. He warned that if Fox News does not cover his events and the "Greatness for America" agenda, its ratings could fall to the level of CNN and MSNBC.

"Remember, Fox tried this act once before, and almost went out of business (and always right before an election!). That can happen again!" Trump concluded, referencing past struggles the network experienced.

One rally Trump referred to, held in Alabama, was reportedly noted to be partially empty within the arena.
