Former President Donald Trump directed a late-night barrage of insults at former allies Tucker Carlson, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Thomas Massie via Truth Social on Friday. Trump, 78, referred to the trio as "LOSERS ALL!" and questioned Carlson's relevance and intelligence.
"Tucker’s ‘Views’ have fallen through the floor, and will only get worse," Trump posted. "Nobody cares about him any longer in that he has become totally irrelevant, and happens to be, surprisingly, a very Low I.Q. individual."
The former president also suggested Carlson, a former Republican congressman, should undergo a cognitive test if he were to pursue political office, stating, "He’s got no chance, but could probably take a couple of points away from whatever the Republican ticket happens to be! Tucker is a loser, and always has been!"
Trump then turned his attention to Greene, a former congresswoman, calling her a "highly neurotic young woman who went from Ultra Conservative to a Liberal ‘Fool,’ all in a matter of weeks." Greene had previously broken with Trump over his administration's handling of the Epstein files and the war in Iran.
Greene responded to Trump's remarks on Saturday, expressing regret over her past support and stating that his "demeanor, name calling, absurd and reckless rhetoric is unbecoming of the office of the president." She likened his online behavior to that of an "internet troll or one of the many millions of bots that say awful horrible things."
Regarding Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), Trump labeled him a "failed politician, and a real JERK." Massie had recently lost his GOP primary to a Trump-backed opponent following his advocacy for the release of the Epstein files.
Massie, in a post on X, noted that Trump's criticisms followed the announcement of a "disastrous beef policy" that faced Republican backlash and occurred as the U.S. debt approached $40 trillion. "He posted this because we are the three he should have listened to," Massie wrote.
Trump concluded his online remarks by suggesting the three might have a better chance joining the "Radical Left Dumocrats" and attempting to disrupt the primary system, adding, "To all of them I say, PRAISE BE TO ALLAH!"
Carlson had previously broken from the Republican Party and, along with Greene and Massie, had been exploring a third-party alternative, signaling a growing rift within the MAGA movement.
