Donald Trump's social media account targeted Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their wedding day, posting a doctored image and a pointed caption shortly after the couple announced their marriage.

The official White House X page shared an image of the billboards outside Madison Square Garden, where Swift and Kelce tied the knot, with the message "Trump is your president." The couple had announced their nuptials by displaying a billboard that read "JUST & T MARRIED!"

The post, captioned "It’s been a long time coming…," a reference to Swift's tour promotion, was shared as Trump traveled to South Dakota aboard Air Force One. The image featured a poster of Trump, alongside historical figures George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, in a style reminiscent of Swift's "Eras Tour" branding.

Swift and Kelce's highly secretive wedding ceremony was officiated by actor Adam Sandler and attended by approximately 1,000 guests.

This latest social media jab follows a history of public commentary from Trump regarding Swift. In 2018, Swift endorsed a Democratic candidate over Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn, whom Swift characterized as "Trump in a wig." At the time, Trump responded by stating he liked Swift's music "about 25% less now."

More recently, Trump has commented on Swift's relationship with Kelce, expressing skepticism about their future together. During the 2024 presidential campaign, Trump asserted that Swift could not endorse Joe Biden, claiming credit for the Music Modernization Act which he stated benefited Swift and other artists. Swift later endorsed Kamala Harris, prompting a social media post from Trump stating, "I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!"

The White House's post comes as Trump is scheduled to travel to Mount Rushmore to commence festivities for America's 250th birthday.
