Trump Greets Ravens Players at Baltimore Shipyard Event, Offers Praise
President Donald Trump acknowledged four Baltimore Ravens players during a speech at a shipyard event in Baltimore, highlighting their team's success.
President Donald Trump acknowledged four Baltimore Ravens players who attended an event at Tradepoint Atlantic, a high-tech shipyard in Baltimore, Maryland. During his remarks on a $3.7 billion project by Anduril Industries to manufacture submarine components, Trump singled out cornerback Marlon Humphrey, kicker Tyler Loop, long snapper Nick Moore, and punter Ryan Eckley.
The players, dressed in suits for the occasion, met with Trump prior to his speech. The president then asked them to stand and acknowledged them in front of the assembled audience and media, remarking on their status as "big stars" and complimenting their appearance.
Trump specifically addressed Nick Moore, the team's long snapper, praising the difficulty and value of his role, noting his "unblemished record" and the precision required for his snaps. "I don't know how to hell you do it," Trump commented on Moore's long-snapping ability.
Humphrey, who rode with Trump in the presidential motorcade following the event, shared a video of the experience on X, which garnered over a million views. The video showed Trump and Moore discussing a past Super Bowl.
While quarterback Lamar Jackson, the team's biggest star, was not present due to an ankle injury, Trump mentioned him, sending regards and recalling meeting Jackson's mother. "He is some player," Trump said of Jackson.
The event at Tradepoint Atlantic, a 3,300-acre multimodal industrial and global logistics center, focused on Anduril Industries' "Arsenal-2" initiative, aimed at boosting U.S. submarine production and creating jobs. The Ravens currently hold a 3-1 record and lead the AFC North division.
