President Donald Trump reported earnings exceeding $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency-related activities, according to financial disclosure filings released Tuesday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics. The filings also revealed that First Lady Melania Trump earned substantial proceeds from her documentary and other licensing agreements.

Trump's cryptocurrency ventures accounted for over $580 million, with approximately $515 million tied to token sales from World Liberty Financial LLC, an entity partially managed by his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. An additional $65 million came from equity sales associated with the firm, and $635 million from the sale of his $TRUMP meme coins.

Melania Trump reported $10.7 million in net proceeds from a licensing agreement for her documentary, titled 'Melania.' The film generated $7 million in ticket sales across the U.S. and Canada during its opening weekend, marking it as the best-performing documentary theatrical release outside of concert films since 2012. Amazon had acquired the rights for $40 million and an additional $35 million for marketing.

Further income for the first lady included over $6 million from another licensing deal involving non-fungible tokens and collectible products. The president also received royalties on his products, such as $4.7 million from a licensing agreement for Trump Watches with The Best Watches on Earth LLC and income from a deal related to 'The Greenwood Bible,' a collaboration with singer Lee Greenwood.

The disclosure also noted a $200,000 speaking fee for a fundraising event in Naples, Florida, in December 2022. Income from watches and a separate deal for sneakers and fragrances, which yielded over $67,000, were previously omitted from Trump's earlier financial disclosure, as was the balance owed from the 2022 speaking event.

The Trump Organization's business dealings contributed significantly to the president's reported income. Over $290 million was attributed to revenue from his Mar-a-Lago estate, Trump National Doral golf property, his Bedminster, New Jersey club, and Trump National Washington D.C. Mar-a-Lago alone generated $77 million in resort-related revenue, an increase from $50 million in the previous disclosure.

In addition, Trump reported over $86 million in settlements from legal disputes with media companies including ABC, CBS, Meta, YouTube, and X.

The filings also detail Trump's stock investments. On August 18, 2025, he made significant purchases in Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia, with each trade valued between $5 million and $25 million. The Nvidia purchase followed an announcement that the company and AMD had agreed to provide the U.S. government with 15 percent of their H20 chip sales to China in exchange for export approval. Trump also purchased Amazon stock worth between $500,000 and $1 million on September 23, 2025, the same day a trial began concerning an FTC lawsuit alleging Amazon misled customers about Prime membership.

President Trump also took a growth mindset with stocks in American companies like Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. The president is pictured in 2017 with Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer of Apple, Trump, Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, and Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon

The Trump Organization has previously stated that the president does not direct his trades.

President Trump also received gifts totaling more than $370,000, including tickets to sporting events from FIFA President Gianni Infantino, New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, and UFC CEO Dana White. A statue from Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino, depicting the president after an assassination attempt, was valued at $250,000.

Among the liabilities reported were judgments from civil trials, including those in favor of writer E. Jean Carroll, who accused Trump of sexual assault and defamation. The Supreme Court declined to hear Trump's appeal of a $5 million jury verdict in one case, and he is also appealing an $83.3 million defamation judgment.

Vice President JD Vance's financial disclosure, also released Tuesday, was significantly shorter. It detailed income from his book, the firm Narya Capital, the Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, and Bitcoin holdings valued between $250,000 and $500,000.

A White House spokeswoman stated that neither the president nor his family has engaged in conflicts of interest, asserting that Trump's administration policies supported innovation and economic opportunity in the crypto sector.
