President Donald Trump's financial disclosure filing reveals earnings exceeding $1.4 billion primarily through cryptocurrency ventures, with First Lady Melania Trump also reporting millions from her documentary.

The disclosure, released Tuesday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, details that Trump earned over $580 million from crypto-related activities. Approximately $515 million is tied to token sales from World Liberty Financial LLC, a venture partly managed by his sons, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump. An additional $65 million came from equity sales in the firm, and $635 million from the sale of his $TRUMP meme coins.

First Lady Melania Trump reported $10.7 million in net proceeds from a licensing agreement for her documentary, 'Melania.' The film garnered $7 million in ticket sales during its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada, marking it as the best-performing documentary theatrical release outside of concert films since 2012. Amazon purchased the rights for $40 million and allocated an additional $35 million for marketing.

Further income for the First Lady included over $6 million from a licensing agreement for non-fungible tokens and collectible products. President Trump also received royalties on his products, including $4.7 million from a licensing agreement for Trump Watches with The Best Watches on Earth LLC and income from the publication of The Greenwood Bible.

The disclosure also noted a $200,000 speaking fee Trump received in December 2022 for a fundraising event in Naples, Florida. Income from watches and a separate sneakers-and-fragrances deal, which generated over $67,000, were previously omitted from his financial disclosures, as was the balance owed from the 2022 speaking event.

Income related to the Trump Organization's business dealings contributed over $290 million. The Mar-a-Lago estate alone generated $77 million in resort-related revenue, an increase from $50 million in the previous disclosure. Other Trump properties, including Trump National Doral golf property, a club in Bedminster, New Jersey, and Trump National Washington DC, also contributed significantly.

In addition to business and crypto earnings, Trump reported over $86 million in settlements from legal disputes with media companies such as ABC, CBS, Meta, YouTube, and X.

Stock Investments

The filing also shows significant stock purchases made by Trump, including trades valued between $5 million and $25 million each in Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia on August 18, 2025. These purchases occurred shortly after announcements regarding Nvidia and AMD's agreement to provide the U.S. government with 15 percent of their H20 chip sales to China for export approval, and Apple's commitment of an additional $100 billion in U.S. investments.

President Trump also took a growth mindset with stocks in American companies like Apple, Amazon and Microsoft. The president is pictured in 2017 with Tim Cook, Chief Executive Officer of Apple, Trump, Satya Nadella, Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft, and Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon

Trump purchased Amazon stock worth between $500,000 and $1 million on September 23, the same day a lawsuit against Amazon by the Federal Trade Commission began. Amazon later agreed to a settlement including a $1 billion civil penalty and $1.5 billion in refunds to customers. The Trump Organization has stated that the president does not direct his trades.

Gifts and Liabilities

President Trump also received gifts totaling over $370,000 during his first year in office. These included tickets to sporting events from entities like FIFA President Gianni Infantino, New Orleans Saints owner Gayle Benson, and UFC CEO Dana White. A statue depicting the president, valued at $250,000, was also among the gifts.

A statue from Sticker Mule CEO Anthony Constantino depicting the president with his fist raised following an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania was worth $250,000

The disclosure also lists liabilities, including judgments from civil trials brought by writer E. Jean Carroll. The Supreme Court declined to hear Trump's appeal of a $5 million jury verdict. He is also appealing a separate $83.3 million defamation judgment awarded to Carroll.

In parallel filings, Vice President JD Vance's disclosure shows income from his book, his firm Narya Capital, the Rise of the Rest Seed Fund, and Bitcoin holdings valued between $250,000 and $500,000. A White House spokesperson stated that neither the president nor his family has engaged in conflicts of interest.
