Donald Trump has publicly shared his positive reaction to a story concerning pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce, specifically focusing on their new dog. The former president reposted an article detailing the couple's pet, a fluffy white samoyed, which was recently seen at the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida.

The exclusive footage of the dog's existence was first revealed by the Daily Mail from within the couple's wedding venue earlier this month. The pet was subsequently observed with Kelce as he disembarked from Swift's private jet in Florida.

Trump shared his thoughts on social media, posting "So cool!!!" alongside the headline of the article, which highlighted the "mystery dog's" debut at the airport. This public endorsement comes despite a history of past friction between Trump and Swift. In 2024, Trump expressed animosity toward Swift on social media after she endorsed Kamala Harris. He also previously cast doubt on the longevity of Swift and Kelce's relationship when their romance first surfaced in 2023, stating, "I wish the best for both of them. I hope they enjoy their life, maybe together, maybe not - most likely not."

The airport where the dog was spotted was recently renamed from Palm Beach International Airport to Donald J. Trump International Airport. The change followed the signing of a law by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in March. The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed the three-letter location identifier for the airport would change to DJT.

This is not the first time the White House has publicly acknowledged Swift in recent weeks. Earlier this month, a Taylor-themed Trump poster was shared on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. The post featured Trump superimposed into imagery reminiscent of Swift's Eras Tour, alongside historical figures and significant American achievements. The caption, "It's been a long time coming...," echoed a lyric used to promote Swift's tour.
