Trump Endorses Netanyahu Ahead of Israeli Elections, Citing Shared Stance Against Iran

Former President Donald Trump has formally endorsed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of upcoming Israeli elections, characterizing Netanyahu as a crucial partner in confronting Iran.

Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that Netanyahu has been a "Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran." He referenced Iran's stated desire to "Death to Israel, Death to America!" and asserted that his administration had systematically weakened Iran militarily and financially.

"If Israel has the wrong Leader, which would be anyone other than Bibi, America will have to do this work ourselves, and I am not inclined to do so," Trump wrote. He lauded Netanyahu for his resilience and strength under pressure, stating that "Bibi Netanyahu has been Strong, Brave, and Brilliant in the face of tremendous opposition."

The former president emphasized the importance of having a strong Israeli leader for the United States, adding, "This is the kind of Partner that the United States of America is demanding of Israel, a Country for which it has done so much."

Trump concluded his statement by reiterating his full support: "BIBI NETANYAHU WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!" The endorsement comes as Netanyahu's party faces a competitive election next week.
