Trump Draws Fire for Sharing Graphic Tiger Attack Video

Former President Donald Trump has drawn severe criticism for sharing graphic footage on his Truth Social platform depicting a man being attacked and killed by a tiger. The incident occurred when a man entered a tiger's enclosure at Yorkshire Wildlife Park in northern England.

Trump posted the video on Tuesday, accompanied by the caption, “Don’t ever mess with nature!” He signed the post with his own name. The footage showed part of the attack, and the victim had reportedly suffered from significant mental illness and was prescribed medication.

Shortly after, Trump shared another video on Truth Social featuring a montage of people appearing to be attacked by lions, some of which seemed to be AI-generated, set to upbeat music. He later posted an AI-generated video depicting himself tackling a tiger and then playfully interacting with the animal, with the song “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” playing.

The posts were met with widespread disgust and condemnation online, with many users describing the content as akin to a “snuff” video and questioning Trump's judgment and mental state. Critics expressed outrage over the decision to share such violent imagery, with comments including that the posters were "sick in the fucking head" and "unhinged."
