President Donald Trump drew criticism after making remarks about the posterior of rapper Nicki Minaj during a rally in Michigan on Sunday. Trump, who had previously complimented the physique of Ohio Senator Jon Husted, turned his attention to Minaj after she spoke at the event.

"I said I looked at his ass and I’ve never done that with a man before, it’s true," Trump said, referencing his earlier comment about Husted. "Off the record, women, yes, men, no, OK?"

He then pointed out Minaj, who was in the audience, saying, "By the way, I looked at one hell of a beautiful ass before, Nicki Minaj. That’s hard to miss." Trump then asked Minaj to stand up, which she did as the crowd cheered.

Minaj has previously expressed support for Trump and his political movement. However, Trump's comments were met with condemnation on social media. Critics called the remarks "classless" and "crass," with some questioning his focus on such topics.

One user on X (formerly Twitter) wrote, "The inhibition is entirely gone. Yeah, he’s always been a rude, obsessive pervert, but he at least knew how to self-regulate for his own benefit. That is gone, and barely anyone seems to be asking why." Another user commented, "Trump again talks about Husted’s ass, then talks about Nicki minaj’s ass and asks her to stand up so everyone else can look at it. So presidential 😕."
