Former President Donald Trump on Tuesday stated that FBI agents are "wasting their time" investigating the residence of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, who died unexpectedly over the weekend.

Agents were observed at the South Carolina Republican's townhouse on Monday. Trump, speaking to reporters, expressed his view that "I don't see a lot of evil there" and suggested that "the FBI is wasting their time if they're doing it."

Graham, 71, died Saturday night from an apparent aortic dissection. Trump remarked that Graham had recently complained of a "bad back," which the former president suggested was a primary indicator of a potential fatal heart attack. Trump added that the condition is "very hard to detect" and that "there's not much you can do about it." He also noted that Graham's father died of the same condition at a similar age.
