Donald Trump has declared that individuals using the term "artificial intelligence" (AI) are "the enemy," urging a shift to his preferred terminology: "Super Intelligence."

On his Truth Social platform, Trump asserted that "Super Intelligence" is a more accurate designation than "artificial intelligence." He stated, "The White House considers anyone that uses the term, “Artificial Intelligence,” as opposed to the highly accepted new and more accurate term, “Super Intelligence,” THE ENEMY!"

This demand has drawn comparisons to Trump's previous attempts at rebranding geographic locations. Notably, he previously rebranded Lake Ontario as "Lake America" and the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America." These prior rebranding efforts were met with similar public apathy, according to reports.

The former president's latest linguistic directive has ignited a wave of mockery and criticism on social media. Critics condemned the rhetoric, with some characterizing it as authoritarian and deeply disturbing. Others noted the trivial nature of the demand in the face of more pressing issues and suggested it was a tactic to rally his base, drawing parallels to debates over pronoun usage.
