Donald Trump has publicly criticized Fox News, alleging the network spends excessive time defending Democrats and presenting their views over those of their Republican counterparts. The former president voiced his displeasure in a Truth Social post early Monday.
"Fox spends more time defending Dumocrats, and putting on their views versus their Republican opponent, than at any time in the History of FoxNews," Trump wrote. "It’s ridiculous! FoxNews is trying too hard to be Politically Correct!"
Instead of tuning into Fox News, Trump directed his followers to the Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN) for coverage of his events. "Watch my big Kansas Rally today on RSBN. Great early coverage! President DJT," he stated, signing off.
RSBN promotes itself as the "#1 channel for LIVE and UNEDITED coverage of Trump rallies and America First events," highlighting its consistent coverage of Trump rallies since 2015.
This is not the first time Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with Fox News's coverage of his rallies. Earlier this month, he criticized "Fox & Friends" for not covering his rallies to his satisfaction. "Our people want to see our Rallies, and reports on our Rallies, on FoxNews, or they will very quickly stop watching (like I am doing right now!)," he wrote at the time. He further claimed the network "spends more time talking to Communists, Socialists, and Dumocrats, often without rebuttal, and MAGA is not, to put it mildly, happy."
Trump specifically called out Jessica Tarlov, described as a Democratic political strategist and one of the few liberal voices on Fox, stating, "We don’t like stupid Jessica Tarlov, and all of the others, that are forced down MAGA’S throats."
He warned that if Fox News continued this approach, its ratings could fall to the level of CNN or MSNBC. "Cover our ‘happenings,’ and not the opposition to Greatness for America, or FoxNews will soon have the ratings of FAKE NEWS CNN or MSNOW (MSDNC)," Trump threatened. "Remember, Fox tried this act once before, and almost went out of business (and always right before an election!). That can happen again!"
