Trump Criticizes Bill Maher as 'Total Loser' on Truth Social

Former President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to criticize comedian Bill Maher, referring to him as a "total loser." The broadside came after Maher featured Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for the Trump campaign, on his HBO show.

In a post exceeding 1,300 words, Trump detailed his grievances with Maher, accusing him of being a "worst comedian" and a "total loser." He also asserted that Maher's show, "Real Time with Bill Maher," was a failing program.

Trump's critique focused on Maher's political commentary and perceived bias against conservative viewpoints. The former president suggested that Maher's show had lost relevance and was no longer capable of attracting a significant audience. The statement did not offer specific policy counterarguments but instead focused on personal attacks and dismissals of Maher's credibility.

The engagement with Maher's program comes as the Trump campaign continues its efforts to reach voters and counter critical media narratives. The use of Truth Social allows Trump to directly communicate with his supporters and frame public discourse on his terms, often employing strong, often inflammatory language against perceived opponents.
