Former President Donald Trump has renewed his attacks on CNN reporter and anchor Kaitlan Collins, this time making a comparison about her appearance and sharing an image that superimposed her face onto the body of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

The former president posted the image on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, July 26, 2026. The image depicted Collins's face on Mulvaney's body, referencing a viral Bud Light advertisement from April 2023 that drew conservative backlash. Trump had previously made a similar comparison during remarks at the White House Correspondents' Dinner on Friday, July 24, 2026.

During the dinner, Trump commented on Collins's perceived success, stating, "I thought Kaitlan had really made it big with a major new sponsorship. But then I informed her that it wasn't her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney."

Mulvaney gained notoriety in 2023 for her role in a marketing campaign with Bud Light, which led to boycotts and significant conservative criticism. Mulvaney has publicly shared her experience undergoing facial feminization surgery as part of her transition.

Collins responded to Trump's initial remarks at the dinner on social media. She wrote that "the second best part of last night's White House Correspondents' Dinner was receiving an award from my friend and mentor, @wolfblitzer." She added that "the first was reminding everyone why the First Amendment—and asking uncomfortable questions that people in power don't like—matters," an apparent reference to Trump's criticism.

This is not the first time Trump and Collins have clashed. In a previous Oval Office exchange earlier in July 2026, Collins asked Trump about his ties to Jeffrey Epstein. Trump responded by commenting on Collins's demeanor, telling her, "I don't think I've ever seen you smile." Collins later discussed the exchange on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," stating that it is inappropriate to smile when asking questions about victims of sexual assault and sex trafficking.
