Trump Considering Dismissal of Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle Amid Misconduct Allegations

President Trump is reportedly considering the dismissal of Kimberly Guilfoyle, the U.S. Ambassador to Greece, following a series of reports detailing alleged misconduct. Sources close to the White House indicate that Guilfoyle is "on very thin ice" as the administration deliberates her future.

Senior officials are reportedly "pissed off" and actively seeking a replacement for Guilfoyle, according to one administration source. Another individual familiar with Trump's inner circle suggested that it would be highly unusual for her to retain her position given the circumstances.

Guilfoyle, who is also the former fiancée of Donald Trump Jr. and ex-wife of California Governor Gavin Newsom, is facing scrutiny over allegations of mistreating her staff and leveraging her diplomatic role for personal benefit. The Wall Street Journal reported that Guilfoyle allegedly requested a donor to cover a $100,000 credit card debt in exchange for favors. She also reportedly boasted about Greek tycoons funding her travel and made assurances about financial opportunities to gain access to an event.

Furthermore, Guilfoyle is the subject of an internal State Department investigation into her conduct in Athens, which has been described as "tyrannical." The Associated Press first reported that President Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were considering her dismissal.

A White House spokesperson stated that they could not confirm whether Trump was contemplating Guilfoyle's removal.
