Donald Trump has shared footage of his recent victory in the club and senior club championships at his golf course in Bedminster, New Jersey, attributing his success to inherent skill. Trump, 80, posted a video on social media showing him celebrating his win.

He stated that he won with a score of 70, which was two strokes under par for the Bedminster course. Trump also remarked on his performance, writing, "I won with a score of 70, and am so honored in that, unlike the rest of the field, I’m given very little time to practice, because I’m focused on many other things. It’s called TALENT, and I have it, and they don’t!"

Trump's previous scorecard from the same tournament in 2025 claimed a 3-under 69. Critics and sports journalists have often expressed skepticism regarding his reported golf scores and track record over the years. Sportswriter Rick Reilly, author of a book on Trump's golf habits, has previously questioned the legitimacy of his wins.

This golfing event follows Trump's announcement on Saturday that he had called off planned strikes on Iran. He stated on Truth Social that he remained "locked and loaded" but had halted the strikes in hopes of reaching a peace deal. Reports indicated that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had urged Trump to de-escalate the situation amid escalating threats between the White House and Tehran.

The Bedminster course was previously slated to host the 2022 PGA Championship, but the event was moved following the January 6 Capitol attack. More recently, the course has hosted events for the LIV Golf Tour, though the tour's future funding and use of Trump's courses remain uncertain following reports of stripped funding by Saudi Arabia.
