Trump Casts Midterm Ballot in Florida

President Donald Trump cast his ballot in the midterm elections on Saturday in West Palm Beach, Florida. Trump, accompanied by first lady Melania Trump, voted at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections office.

When asked by reporters if he voted along party lines, Trump confirmed, “Very much so,” while wearing an “I Voted” sticker.

During his remarks at the polling site, Trump also defended a controversial campaign advertisement by Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy that featured the estranged mother of Ramaswamy's Democratic rival, Dr. Amy Acton. The ad faced criticism for its inclusion of details about Acton's family history.

Trump also addressed his administration's decision to file a lawsuit aimed at blocking the certification of the U.S. Senate race in Alaska. The lawsuit was initiated after a candidate with the same name, Dan Sullivan, appeared on the ballot alongside Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan.

Regarding the conflict in Iran, Trump stated, “I may have to finish it off. Or maybe they’ll make a deal, but I’m not sure. Either way, we win.”

Melania Trump, who recently brokered a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the occupied city of Oleshky to facilitate humanitarian aid and civilian evacuation, was asked about potential travel to Ukraine. She responded, “We will see.”

In Florida, Trump has endorsed Republican Byron Donalds, who is running against David Jolly, a former Republican who is now running as a Democrat, for the governor's seat. He has also campaigned for Republican Ashley Moody, who is seeking to fill the remaining two years of Marco Rubio's former Senate term against Angie Nixon.
