Trump Calls LeBron James a 'Total Disgrace' for National Anthem Actions

Former President Donald Trump has publicly criticized LeBron James, labeling the basketball player a "TOTAL DISGRACE" for his actions during the national anthem. The remarks came via a post on Trump's Truth Social platform.

Trump's latest comments were prompted by James's behavior during his debut with the Philadelphia 76ers. According to reports, James was observed taking practice swings in new 76ers gear while the anthem played and other team members stood in respect.

This is not the first instance of Trump criticizing James over anthem-related conduct. The former president previously made similar remarks after James exhibited comparable actions during a Christmas Day game while playing for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Trump has previously voiced his opinion on James in other contexts, including a comparison to Michael Jordan. In a past statement, Trump said he preferred Jordan, whom he described as a friend, and added, "I only like people that like me."
