Trump Announces 'Super Intelligence Force' to Lead in AI
The initiative aims to coordinate federal efforts and ensure American dominance in rapidly advancing artificial intelligence technology.
Former President Donald Trump announced Sunday the creation of a new federal initiative called the "Super Intelligence Force" (SIF), which he stated will coordinate government efforts to maintain American leadership in artificial intelligence.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump outlined that the SIF will engage with various stakeholders, including consumers, public-interest and religious groups, critical infrastructure providers, and technology companies. The primary objective, according to Trump, is to ensure the United States remains at the forefront of "Super Intelligence" development.
This move signals a focus on national competitiveness in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. The initiative intends to consolidate and direct federal engagement to foster continued American innovation and dominance in the field of artificial intelligence.
