The Trump administration has released its fourth collection of declassified documents related to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), commonly known as UFOs. The batch, published Friday on the Department of War's website, adds dozens of documents, videos, and photographs to the government's public archive.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that the release demonstrates the administration's commitment to transparency regarding the government's understanding of UAP. He added, "It is time the American people see for themselves." The Department of War's website has reportedly received over 1.7 billion hits since its launch on May 8, with subsequent releases occurring two weeks later and on June 12.

Among the newly released materials is footage showing an eight-pointed object hovering over the Yellow Sea in East Asia in 2025. The 18-second video was captured by an infrared sensor aboard a U.S. military platform. The description notes the object maintained its position at times and resembled a six-pointed star. Redactions were included in the clip to protect sensitive information.

The collection also features a Department of Energy report detailing an incident in 2015 at the Pantex nuclear weapons plant in Texas. Security teams responded after radar detected a silent, diamond-shaped object moving over the facility. According to officers, the craft flew between 100 and 200 feet above the ground with no discernible means of propulsion before vanishing. Surveillance footage was analyzed by Sandia National Laboratories, and all evidence was reportedly turned over to the FBI.

The release also includes a Department of Energy report detailing how security teams at the Pantex nuclear weapons plant in Texas scrambled after radar detected a silent, diamond-shaped object drifting over the highly secured facility in 2015.

Other notable inclusions are a video of a shape-shifting orb filmed over the U.S. in 2024 and an unresolved case involving an oddly shaped craft seen zig-zagging across the western U.S.

A still from a video deemed an unresolved case involving an oddly shaped craft zig-zagging across the western US.

The release also contains the COMETA Report, a study by retired French generals and defense experts. The report concludes that the extraterrestrial hypothesis is a plausible explanation for some UFO encounters and warns that the phenomenon should be treated as a national security issue, urging governments to prepare for the possibility that humanity is not alone.
