A Florida woman, described as a true-crime influencer obsessed with Lindsay Clancy, has been charged with unlawful wiretapping for allegedly posting a secretly recorded phone call with Patrick Clancy’s father on social media. Shawna Gramkow, 46, of Sanford, Florida, faces one count of the charge, according to court documents.

Christopher Clancy, the father of Patrick Clancy, filed a police report on September 7 after hearing his voice on an audio recording shared on Gramkow's Instagram page,

which goes by the handle saltylunatics. The post was made on August 30.

Court papers did not specify the content of the recorded conversation or who was on the other end of the call. It also did not state who made the recording. However, Christopher Clancy recognized some of his comments as pertaining to his eldest son, Brian.

Christopher Clancy testified that he received a call from an unknown number on August 6, while he was driving. At the time, Lindsay Clancy’s trial for the fatal strangulation of her three young children was underway. He believes he accidentally answered the call, allowing the unknown party to record his comments without his knowledge or consent.

Gramkow allegedly stated in the social media post that Lindsay Clancy’s lawyer had released Patrick Clancy’s phone number, leading to the call. She claimed that Patrick’s father was still on the line and “mumbling still on the phone, I guess he didn’t know that the phone was still going.”

The post from Gramkow's page, which reportedly features conspiracy theories about Clancy's trial and has garnered over 50,000 followers across social media platforms, appears to have been removed.

Gramkow is scheduled to appear in Scituate criminal court in Massachusetts on November 20. She has denied the allegations in social media posts, stating that they are false and easily disproven.

Gramkow also launched a GoFundMe page, which had raised over $13,000 as of Friday, to fund legal counsel.

Lindsay Clancy’s trial concluded with a hung jury on September 4. She was accused of planning and carrying out the killings of her and Patrick's three children – Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months – on January 24, 2023. Her defense argued she was not guilty by reason of insanity, citing severe postpartum psychosis and auditory commands. Prosecutors intend to retry the case.
