Troy Aikman Celebrates UCLA's Upset Victory Over Oregon

NFL legend Troy Aikman expressed his pride following the No. 21 UCLA Bruins' 17-15 upset victory over the No. 13 Oregon Ducks on Saturday. The win, achieved on Oregon's home field, marks one of the most significant achievements in recent UCLA football history and propels the Bruins to a 5-0 record.

Aikman, a prominent UCLA alumnus, took to his Instagram Story to acknowledge the team's accomplishment. He posted a screenshot of UCLA head coach Bob Chesney celebrating on screen, captioned simply with "5-0," referencing the Bruins' undefeated status. This victory signifies UCLA's growing presence among the nation's elite college football programs.

Despite securing a hard-fought win, the Bruins faced a setback during the game when starting quarterback Nico Iamaleava sustained a leg injury in the second quarter. Iamaleava returned briefly but was intercepted and subsequently missed the remainder of the second half. The status of his injury will be a key point of interest for UCLA fans, including Aikman, as the team looks to maintain its undefeated streak.

The game was a defensive battle, with UCLA's offense achieving its lowest point total of the season. However, the Bruins demonstrated their ability to win close, defense-oriented contests against formidable opponents like Oregon.
