Troy Aikman Appears Unfazed Amid Reports of Conflict with Joe Buck

Troy Aikman appeared composed during his pregame preparations for "Monday Night Football" at SoFi Stadium, despite reports of a conflict with broadcast partner Joe Buck. New video captured by the California Post shows Aikman arriving at the venue alone in a black SUV shortly after Buck.

Aikman, the former Dallas Cowboys quarterback, met with Los Angeles Rams receiver Davante Adams on the field and later exchanged pleasantries with Pat McAfee. He was observed drinking from a cup, and while not overtly smiling, he did not appear distressed. Aikman later joined Buck for ESPN's broadcast of the game without apparent issue.

The reported tension between the two broadcasters stems from a contract dispute. Front Office Sports reported that Buck had recently finalized a new agreement with ESPN, while Aikman remained without a renewed contract. This disparity is believed to have created friction between the longtime partners.

Aikman addressed the situation indirectly during an appearance on 96.7 The Ticket on Thursday. "There’s probably a time and a place for all that. I don’t know if now is the time," Aikman stated, according to the Dallas Morning News. He indicated that he would broadcast through the current season and explore his options as a free agent at its conclusion. "I’m looking forward to whatever the rest of this season does hold and the Super Bowl and all that and where my next landing spot may be," he added.

Aikman and Buck have been broadcast partners for over two decades. Buck has not publicly commented on the alleged disagreement.
