Trisha Goddard, 68, has returned to the hospital for steroid injections to manage pain associated with her stage 4 breast cancer. The broadcaster shared the update on Wednesday via Instagram, posting a montage of herself smiling in a hospital bed.

Goddard, who was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2023, described the injections as a way to combat aches and pains left by radiation treatment. She humorously noted that while receiving the injection, she was told there would be "A little prick," to which she responded by comparing the experience favorably to past relationships.

In addition to breast cancer, Goddard has also experienced Raynaud's syndrome, a condition that can affect blood flow to the extremities and is sometimes a side effect of cancer treatments like chemotherapy.

Last year, Goddard made headlines for becoming the first person with incurable cancer to participate in the UK's Celebrity Big Brother. She has spoken previously about preparing for the show, undergoing chemotherapy and targeted hormone therapy, and taking precautions to maintain her health while filming. Her participation was intended to show other patients that they should "not be scared of living" after a cancer diagnosis.
