Trisha Goddard, 68, has returned to the hospital for steroid injections as she continues to manage her incurable stage 4 breast cancer. The broadcaster revealed the update on Wednesday via an Instagram post, accompanied by a montage of photos from her hospital bed.

Goddard was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer in 2023. She also experiences Raynaud's syndrome, a condition that affects blood flow to the fingers and toes and can be a side effect of cancer treatments like chemotherapy.

In her Instagram update, Goddard described the procedure as a way to alleviate aches and pains attributed to her cancer. She humorously remarked on the injections, comparing the needle to past negative experiences. "One of the few massive needles I'm always really glad to see!" she wrote, adding a lighthearted comment about encountering "bigger pr***s" in her past.

Last year, Goddard made headlines for becoming the first person with incurable cancer to participate in the U.K.'s Celebrity Big Brother. She has previously spoken about undergoing treatment, including chemotherapy and targeted hormone therapy, before entering the reality show. She stated her participation was intended to encourage other patients to live their lives fully despite a cancer diagnosis.
