Travis Kelce has offered a glimpse into his recent wedding to pop superstar Taylor Swift, describing the ceremony at Madison Square Garden as a "magical" and intimate occasion despite a large guest list. The couple, both 36, tied the knot on July 3 in New York City.

Speaking on his "New Heights" podcast with his brother Jason, who served as best man, Kelce recounted the event. "It was insane, it was a night I'll never forget," he said. "Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up. From the vows to seeing everyone, and how much fun we had that evening, and hearing that being relieved through everyone's stories of that night. It was just magical man."

Kelce expressed gratitude to Madison Square Garden staff for ensuring a private and genuine setting. "We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have an intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions," he explained. "We needed to have a private feel, and MSG went above and beyond to give us that."

He noted the absence of phones among guests, which he felt contributed to a more present atmosphere. "It was very cool to see how everyone interacted with no phones, everyone is on guard, it makes everyone be in the moment and present," Kelce said. He also acknowledged Adam Sandler, who officiated the ceremony after becoming ordained in New York.

The couple's guest list included notable figures from the entertainment and sports worlds, such as Selena Gomez, Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, and Tom Hanks, along with Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs teammates.

New Family Member

In addition to wedding details, Kelce also introduced the couple's new dog, a white Samoyed named Wendy. The NFL star confirmed on the podcast that Wendy has become part of their family and recently made her public debut in a Tommy Hilfiger campaign alongside him.

"She is officially a picture dog. We gotta get the line in her size," Kelce quipped about Wendy's modeling debut. He mentioned that Swift was supportive of Wendy's participation in the photoshoot, noting how well the dog fit with the brand's aesthetic.

Kelce revealed that Wendy is just over a year old and that they had been keeping her existence private. The dog's presence was first reported in exclusive footage from the couple's wedding. The name Wendy may be a nod to the character Wendy Peffercorn from the 1993 film "The Sandlot," a film Kelce has cited as a childhood favorite, and potentially to the character Wendy Darling from J.M. Barrie's "Peter Pan," whom Swift has referenced in her music.
