A clip from a 2016 interview featuring Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has resurfaced, showing him making a choice between pop stars Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. In the game "Kiss, Marry, Kill," Kelce opted to marry Perry, kiss Swift, and eliminate Ariana Grande.

The resurfaced footage comes as Kelce and Swift recently married in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden. The couple confirmed their marriage with video advertisements displayed at the venue.

The interview clip is from a segment with AfterBuzz TV, where Kelce, then 36, was asked to make the difficult choice. "Kill Ariana, unfortunately," he stated. "Love you, but you're gone." He then added, "Taylor to kiss and… what was the last one? Katy Perry would be to marry."

Swift and Perry have a history of public animosity, notably with Swift's 2015 song "Bad Blood" reportedly stemming from a dispute involving backup dancers. However, the two artists appear to have reconciled, with Perry expressing affection for Swift in January after attending one of her concerts in Sydney.

Kelce and Swift's relationship began on July 8, 2023, when Kelce first saw Swift at her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City. He attempted to give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number, but the exchange was unsuccessful at that time. Their engagement was announced last August.

Despite their demanding schedules and significant public attention, Kelce has described their relationship as grounded. "Whenever I’m with her, it feels like we’re just regular people," he told GQ. "When there is not a camera on us, we’re just two people that are in love."

The couple's wedding was a private affair attended by approximately 1,000 guests, including numerous celebrities. Both bride and groom wore Christian Dior. Taylor Swift's brother, Austin, served as her "man of honor," while Travis Kelce's brother, Jason, was the best man. The exact timing and details of their wedding were kept private until the official announcement.
