Travis Kelce offered a glimpse into his August 2025 proposal to Taylor Swift, describing the planning process during the first episode of his "New Heights" podcast since their recent wedding. The episode, recorded with his brother Jason Kelce, featured Swift as a guest shortly before he intended to ask her to marry him.

Kelce called the podcast recording with Swift "one [he'll] remember forever," adding that he was actively planning the proposal during the session. He described the experience as "really cool" and "pretty fun."

The couple, who have been together for two years, legally wed privately before their public ceremony. Their wedding took place at Madison Square Garden on July 3, with over 1,000 guests in attendance. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, during which guests reportedly cried.

Attendees received embroidered handkerchiefs. Insiders told NBC News that the vows were particularly emotional, with one source noting that Kelce appeared more emotional than Swift. Another source told the Daily Mail that Kelce promised to protect Swift forever, a moment that brought her to tears.

For the wedding party, the couple honored Swift's brother, Austin, as her "Man of Honor," and Travis's brother, Jason, as his best man. Swift's wedding attire was designed by Jonathan Anderson for Christian Dior Haute Couture.

The reception reportedly included a raffle with high-end items and a vintage 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible decorated with a custom license plate reading "JST&T MRD."

The celebration began with a cocktail hour at 4 p.m. on the sixth floor of Madison Square Garden, with the ceremony commencing at 5:30 p.m. on the arena floor. An area of the venue was transformed into a forest setting with trees and grass-like carpeting.

Kelce's podcast, "New Heights," will be on hiatus until September 2. The athlete was last seen in August 2025, when he proposed to Swift in his Kansas home.
