Travis Kelce Recalls Nieces Calling Taylor Swift by Her Full Name

Travis Kelce has shared an amusing anecdote about how his nieces, the daughters of his brother Jason Kelce, initially addressed Taylor Swift when their relationship began. The nieces, Wyatt, Ellie, Bennett, and Finn, would call Swift by her full name, "Taylor Swift," due to starstruck shyness.

Swift and Kelce began dating in late 2023, and the nieces have since spent considerable time with the pop superstar. This summer, Swift became their official aunt when she and Kelce married in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden, where Jason and Kylie's daughters served as flower girls.

During a recent episode of the Kelce brothers' "New Heights" podcast, the conversation turned to addressing famous people. Travis recalled the habit his nieces had of calling Swift by her full name, which he found "adorable." His brother Jason recounted how the girls would ask permission, saying, "Taylor Swift, can I do this? Taylor Swift.." before they learned to simply call her Taylor.

Kylie Kelce previously mentioned on her podcast that Swift has become a significant influence on her daughters, particularly regarding their desire for cats. Swift, a well-known cat lover, owns three cats: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button. Kylie expressed a desire for cats in their home, noting that her daughters are exposed to cats through Swift and then ask for them at home, where they do not have any.

Swift was recently seen attending the NFL season opener on Monday night, where she watched Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Denver Broncos 31-10. She was seated alongside actor Tom Cruise and Jason Kelce for the game.
