Travis Kelce Details Birthday Date Night with Taylor Swift, Discusses Chiefs' Bye Week

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has offered a glimpse into his birthday celebration with pop superstar Taylor Swift, recounting a date night at the New York City restaurant Torrisi.

Kelce, who recently celebrated his 37th birthday, described the evening on his podcast, "New Heights." He noted that he and Swift visited one of his favorite spots, Torrisi, and enjoyed the restaurant's desserts. "Torrisi's got some good desserts," Kelce said. "They brought out the entire arsenal. It was pretty good. They got some good yogurt. They got a good espresso, like shaved espresso icing with ice cream and chocolate underneath. It was weird. It was nice though."

Swift, 36, reportedly wore a black slip dress with a lace trim and an oversized leather jacket for the occasion. Kelce opted for a dark green cardigan, suit trousers, and Cuban-style heels. The couple were observed arriving and departing the restaurant, with Kelce frequently seen holding Swift's hand.

During the podcast episode, Kelce also commented on the Chiefs' recent victory against the Las Vegas Raiders, which maintained their undefeated season at 4-0. He acknowledged that a loss on his birthday would have significantly impacted his celebration.

"It would have ruined my birthday for sure," Kelce stated. "Losing ruins everyone's life."

With the Chiefs heading into their bye week, Kelce outlined his plans, which primarily involve working out and observing other sporting events. The Chiefs' next game is scheduled for October 18 against the LA Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium. Kelce is not required to be with the team in Missouri for activities for the remainder of the week, as the podcast recording was done in New York. He mentioned he will be "watching football and baseball and enjoying what college and the NFL have to offer."
