NFL icon Ryan Fitzpatrick recounted that guests at Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding were left stunned by a particular moment during the ceremony. The celebration, which took place at Madison Square Garden on July 3, saw approximately 1,000 guests from Hollywood and the sports elite in attendance.

Fitzpatrick, a former quarterback and current analyst for Amazon Prime's Thursday Night Football, attended the event with his wife. He told People that the entire celebration was "top notch" and that he was still recovering from "six-plus hours of dancing." While he described the entire event as "unbelievable," the appearance of actor Adam Sandler was a standout moment that "had everybody floored."

The ceremony was officiated by Sandler, and Stevie Nicks was among the performers. The couple's wedding announcement was revealed by a marquee outside the arena that read "JUST&T MARRIED."

Swift's younger brother, Austin Swift, served as her man of honor, while Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, was his best man. The bride and groom wore custom outfits from Christian Dior Haute Couture and Jonathan Anderson, with shoes by Christian Louboutin and Cartier jewelry for Swift.

Among the notable guests from arts and entertainment were actors Bradley Cooper, Zoe Kravitz, Hugh Grant, and Ethan Hawke, models Gigi Hadid and Karlie Kloss, comedian Chris Rock, director Steven Spielberg, singer Camila Cabello, and author Jenny Han. Numerous Kansas City Chiefs teammates of Kelce were also present, as were NFL players Matthew Stafford, Mecole Hardman, Cooper Kupp, and Baker Mayfield. NFL sideline reporters Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, who have been credited with matchmaking the couple, also attended.

Reports indicated that invitations to the event caused some internal drama. Following a more intimate rehearsal dinner for 100 guests, some members of Kelce's NFL circle reportedly expressed disappointment at not receiving invitations to the main event. Former NFL players Taylor Lewan and Will Compton publicly stated they were not invited to the wedding, with Compton expressing surprise and Lewan questioning if the exclusion was intentional.
