Travis Kelce purchased a $5.35 million lakefront mansion in Ohio months before marrying Taylor Swift, according to property records. The home, located miles from downtown Cleveland, is situated on the shore of Lake Erie.

The 131-year-old residence underwent recent renovations. It was initially listed in 2024 for nearly $7 million, with the price later reduced to $5.99 million before Kelce's purchase. The 3.5-acre property features a 21,000-square-foot home with eight bedrooms, a ballroom, and a home theater.

The estate also includes a two-bedroom guest cottage, formerly the property's gatehouse, and a backyard pool. Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, closed on the property in March. The home is reportedly near a private airport, which could facilitate managing the couple's real estate holdings.

Reports indicate that by early July, the couple owned at least nine properties. This portfolio includes Swift's New York condo and residences in Rhode Island, Nashville, and California, in addition to Kelce's existing mansion in Kansas City.

Brokers David Ayers and Nick Zawitz of The Agency Cleveland expressed enthusiasm for the new owners and for Cleveland. Kelce, a native of Cleveland Heights, has maintained ties to his home region, with Swift having attended Cleveland Cavaliers games with him.

In addition to the mansion purchase, Kelce and Swift recently acquired a Samoyed dog, reportedly named Wendy. The dog was featured in a new advertising campaign for Tommy Hilfiger alongside Kelce. The dog's presence was first noted in exclusive footage from the couple's wedding.
