Travis Barker has shared an update on his health following surgery to address numbness in his arm, hand, and fingers. The Blink-182 drummer underwent a cubital tunnel release procedure, which he revealed via Instagram stories on Wednesday.
Barker explained that the numbness began after a show last month. A nerve test on Monday confirmed the need for the surgery, which he decided to have promptly to ensure he can continue performing. He anticipates being fully recovered within a few weeks.
His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, was present at the hospital, with Barker posting a selfie of them together. He humorously noted his wife's seemingly happy expression in the photo.
Just one day prior to the surgery, Kardashian had shared a photo of herself kissing Barker in the hospital, captioning it, "My beautiful wife by my side." Their daughter Alabama was also with Barker.
This is not the first time Barker has undergone surgery for an arm-related issue. In March 2023, he had an operation for a torn finger ligament, which he declared a success and thanked his fans for their support.
Barker and Kardashian married in 2022 and welcomed their son, Rocky, in November 2023. Kardashian also has three children from her previous relationship with Scott Disick, and Barker has three children from his previous marriage to Shanna Moakler.
