Travis Barker has revealed the unsettling premonitions he and his daughter, Alabama, experienced just before the 2008 Learjet crash that claimed the lives of four people. Barker, the drummer for Blink-182, discussed the incident during a recent appearance on Jay Shetty's "On Purpose" podcast.

According to Barker, his daughter, who was very young at the time, expressed intense distress about him leaving. "Dad, don’t go!" she reportedly said, crying and uttering a cryptic phrase: "The roof’s gonna come off."

Barker admitted he had tried to cancel the engagement that led to the flight but was unable to do so in time. Upon seeing the aircraft, he described having an "awful" feeling. "Got on the plane, but I knew — something feels off," he recalled, adding that he subsequently called his father to ensure his children would be cared for if something happened to him.

The musician described the moments after takeoff as chaotic and terrifying. "There’s just a huge loud noise that sounded like gunshots, and the plane spirals out of control. We take off, but there’s smoke filling our cabin. We’re going up, we’re going down and we’re hitting the runway," Barker stated, noting there was "a full fire in the cabin."

The crash resulted in the deaths of the two pilots, Barker's assistant, and his bodyguard. Barker's close friend, DJ AM, whose real name was Adam Goldstein, also survived the crash but died approximately one year later.

Following Goldstein's death, Barker told People magazine that he lived in constant fear, feeling as though he was "next." He described isolating himself, moving directly between his tour bus and hotel rooms, and experiencing anxiety that "impact" was imminent, even while on the road.
