Khloe Simmonds, 26, has been sentenced to seven-and-a-half years in prison after admitting to eight counts of perverting the course of justice. The charges stemmed from false allegations of rape she made against six different men over an eight-year period, from July 2018 to January 2026.

During police investigations, Simmonds spent hundreds of hours portraying herself as a victim of serious sexual assault. Harrow Crown Court heard that at the height of her offending, Simmonds was responsible for 2.5% of all sexual assault allegations in Harrow, west London. The false claims led to several men being arrested and detained before their eventual release.

Judge John Lodge stated that Simmonds's actions constituted a "sustained pattern of conduct, not isolated incidents." He further noted that her behavior impacted the resources available to assist genuine victims of serious crime. Simmonds, who is pre-operative, was referred to using female pronouns during the court proceedings.

One of the first false allegations occurred in 2018, when Simmonds claimed an Afghan national raped her at knifepoint. The man was arrested and subjected to an 88-day police investigation. He denied the allegations, stating Simmonds had made unwanted advances towards him.

In February 2022, Simmonds accused a man she met on the dating app Grindr of rape. She alleged he had spiked her drink after inviting him to her flat. Police arrested the man, who later described the arrest as "humiliating." He stated that while in her flat, he had gone to the toilet and returned to find his beer smelled of whisky.

Just one month later, Simmonds accused a taxi driver of rape. However, data from the taxi's onboard systems showed the vehicle had maintained a consistent speed and had not stopped, which prosecutor Ben Temple described as evidence that "annihilated the allegation." Simmonds subsequently admitted to police that her claims were false and that she had lied, having been very drunk.

In June 2022, Simmonds accused a musician she met on Grindr of rape. She alleged he had orally raped her while he was asleep on her sofa. The musician was arrested but maintained his innocence, stating in a victim impact statement that he found the process "deeply distressing."

Simmonds also made claims of being raped by an unknown man on three occasions in November 2025. Additionally, she accused another man on three separate occasions between December 2018 and February 2022. One victim stated that the false allegations led to the end of his relationship, estrangement from his family, and three suicide attempts.

In January 2026, Simmonds claimed she was raped on a bench by a man she had met that evening. CCTV footage later exonerated the man, showing no assault occurred.

Mitigating, Dominic Benthall stated Simmonds has been diagnosed with autism and ADHD and has a history of alcohol dependency, suggesting an "underlying mental health difficulty."

Simmonds had previously pleaded guilty to eight counts of tending and intending to pervert the course of public justice. She attended her sentencing hearing by video link from HMP Wormwood Scrubs but refused to return to her cell afterward.
