'Tracker' Season 4 Set for October 2026 Premiere on CBS
The hit survivalist drama starring Justin Hartley will return for its fourth season on October 4, 2026, with episodes streaming on Paramount+.
CBS has officially renewed the popular survivalist drama "Tracker" for a fourth season. The series, starring and executive produced by Justin Hartley, is slated to premiere on Sunday, October 4, 2026, with episodes also available for streaming on Paramount+.
"Tracker" has been a significant success for CBS, consistently ranking as the network's No. 1 show and a top performer on broadcast television. The early renewal for Season 4, confirmed in January, reflects the show's strong viewership and critical reception.
The Season 4 premiere, titled "Safe Harbor," will see Colter Shaw, played by Hartley, investigating the disappearance of a teenage boy's father. The search will lead him into a dangerous criminal operation at the Port of Los Angeles.
The Season 3 finale left viewers with several unresolved storylines. Colter Shaw found a semblance of a home base in a furnished garage, beginning repairs on his late father's truck. Meanwhile, his brother Russell (Jensen Ackles) made a complex deal with the enigmatic McIntyre (Glenn Morshower), agreeing to undertake a secret assignment in exchange for information from his father's files. Russell's actions were intended to protect Colter from further troubling discoveries about their father.
Jensen Ackles is confirmed to return as Russell Shaw in Season 4, appearing in at least one episode. "He’s in at least one [episode], and we’ll have him back when we can," Hartley told TV Insider. "I think probably in the new year, we’ll have him back for a few." Hartley teased that Russell will eventually reach out to Colter for help with a friend in serious trouble, which will lead to a reunion between the brothers and a "pretty epic journey."
There is also a possibility of Melissa Roxburgh returning as Dory, Colter and Russell's sister. The show's move to Los Angeles for Season 4 is expected to bring new challenges and adventures for the "Tracker" team.
Fans can watch "Tracker" on CBS and stream episodes on Paramount+. The platform offers Essential (ad-supported) and Premium (ad-free) subscription plans, with current users able to take advantage of a seven-day free trial for the Premium plan.
