Tracee Ellis Ross has been a devoted fan of MAC's Ruby Woo lipstick since she was 16, and at 53, she continues to praise its "perfect" red-blue hue. The actress described the shade as capable of elevating any outfit and even making workouts feel easier, noting that it can impart an air of elegance without additional makeup.

"If you’re having a bad day, put on some Ruby Woo," Ross told The Strategist, revealing that she keeps multiple tubes of the lipstick in her purses and offices. The popularity of Ruby Woo extends beyond Ross, with numerous celebrities also linked to the shade, including Rihanna, Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, and Angelina Jolie. Taylor Swift previously called it a "staple" in 2015.

Page Six Style & Shopping Director Elana Fishman also vouches for Ruby Woo, calling it a "certified classic" for its longevity, matte finish, and flattering appearance on various skin tones. In celebration of National Lipstick Day on July 29, the lipstick is available for under $20 at MAC and Sephora.

In addition to her go-to lipstick, Ross shared her appreciation for other timeless items, including Levi's Vintage 1950s 701 Jeans, which she stocks in various sizes for their high waist and straight-leg fit. She also relies on the Alex Mill Perfect Weekday Tote, a monogrammed bag that has been seen on Kaia Gerber and Gwyneth Paltrow. Ross's own tote is blue with "T-E-R" embroidered on the side, serving as her ideal carry-all.
