Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo was arrested last week for operating while intoxicated in Wisconsin. Bodycam footage obtained by The Daily Mail shows Romo, 46, being pulled over on a Milwaukee interstate and subsequently performing poorly on a field sobriety test. The arrest report states Romo was booked on one count of operating while intoxicated, first offense.

During the traffic stop, Romo told the officer he had consumed 'zero' drinks and was coming from a golf course. The officer initiated the stop for unsafe passing on the right and cutting across the gore. After the officer checked his license, she administered a sobriety test. Romo initially resisted exiting his vehicle, stating he needed to call his lawyer and film the interaction. He questioned the officer, asking if she believed he was drunk because he was coming from a golf course.

The officer informed Romo he was being detained for OWI and would be taken to a safer location for testing. He was then handcuffed. Later, at a police station, Romo struggled to complete tests in front of other officers.

Romo, who spent his 13-season NFL career with the Cowboys and led them to four postseason appearances, later appeared in a mugshot. He is currently part of CBS' NFL broadcast team, earning $18 million annually. This fall will mark his tenth season as a sportscaster.

In the wake of the arrest, Romo withdrew from the Texas State Open golf tournament, where he is a regular participant. Organizers confirmed his withdrawal from the competition and a scheduled Q&A session. Romo, who is married to Candice Crawford Romo and has three children, previously dated Jessica Simpson.
